We join you in lifting up your heart’s desires to our Heavenly Father, who knows your needs even before you ask. It is a beautiful thing to seek a godly wife, for marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Yet, we must also remember that this pursuit must be rooted in godliness, patience, and trust in His timing. A wife is not merely a companion but a helper suited for you by God Himself, as He formed Eve for Adam in Genesis 2:18. We encourage you to seek a woman who fears the Lord, for *"A worthy woman is the crown of her husband"* (Proverbs 12:4). As you wait, cultivate your own walk with Christ, for a godly marriage begins with a godly man leading in love, humility, and faith.
As for your business, we know that prosperity comes from the Lord, and He delights in blessing the work of our hands when we commit our ways to Him. Proverbs 16:3 declares, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Yet, we must also remember that true prosperity is not measured by wealth alone but by our stewardship, integrity, and generosity. Seek first His Kingdom, and *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33). Be diligent, honest, and wise in your dealings, for *"the blessing of Yahweh brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it"* (Proverbs 10:22).
However, we must gently address that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that our petitions reach the throne of God. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We urge you to always approach God through Jesus, for He is the Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so today. Believe in Him as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without faith in Jesus, no prayer is heard, no request is granted, and no soul is saved.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your will in his life. Lord, You know his heart’s desire for a godly wife, and we ask that You prepare him to be the husband You’ve called him to be—patient, loving, and faithful. Guide him to a woman who fears You, who will walk beside him in faith, and who will build a home that honors You. Let their union be a testament to Your covenant love, rooted in Christ and sealed by Your Spirit.
Father, we also pray for his business. Grant him wisdom in every decision, favor in every transaction, and integrity in every deal. Prosper the work of his hands, not for selfish gain, but so that he may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom. Teach him to trust in You alone, for apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of impatience, selfishness, or worldly ambition that may seek to distract him from Your perfect will. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in obedience and discernment. Remind him daily that his greatest treasure is not in marriage or wealth but in knowing Christ Jesus as his Lord.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who alone is worthy of all praise. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to walk in holiness, and to trust in the Lord’s timing. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you into all truth and blessing. If you have not yet fully surrendered to Christ, we urge you to do so today—there is no greater decision you could make. May the Lord richly bless you as you seek Him with all your heart.
