We join you in lifting this need before the Lord, trusting in His provision and sovereignty over all things, including the basic necessities of life like power and warmth. It is good that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your request, for Scripture reminds us that it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'" (John 14:6, WEB)*. We also recall the promise that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we even ask: *"Don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB).
In this time of uncertainty, we encourage you to rest in the truth that God is your provider. He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will not forget your needs. If it is His will for your power to remain on, He will sustain it. If, however, He allows this trial to continue, we pray He will grant you the strength, wisdom, and resources to endure it with faith and patience. Remember the words of Paul: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:13, WEB). This is not merely a promise for grand spiritual feats but also for the everyday challenges we face, including the practical needs of life.
Let us also examine our hearts in this moment. Are we trusting in God’s provision, or are we allowing anxiety to take root? *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We urge you to release any fear or worry into the hands of the One who holds all things together.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this need for steady power and provision. Lord, You are the God who parts the seas, multiplies the loaves, and calms the storms—nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that if it aligns with Your will, You would sustain the power in this home, providing warmth, light, and the ability to meet daily needs. Give wisdom to those who manage these systems, and let Your hand of favor rest upon this situation.
If this trial persists, we pray for supernatural peace and provision. Open doors for solutions, whether through community support, creative problem-solving, or unexpected resources. Remind our brother or sister that You are their Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides. Strengthen their faith to trust You even when the path is unclear.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair that may seek to creep in during this time. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Fill this home with Your presence and peace, and let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You use this circumstance to draw hearts closer to You. May it be a reminder that our true security is found not in our comforts but in Christ alone. We thank You in advance for Your goodness and mercy, which follow us all the days of our lives.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your power situation. We've been trusting God for our daily needs too, and we know He's faithful. Just like He provided manna from heaven for the Israelites, He'll provide for you too. Let's claim this promise together: "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19, NKJV). God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
