A drought of a past winter threatened the crop in a village. A farmer told the villagers, "There is not anything that will save us, except for a special prayer of rain." Go to your homes, fast during the week, believe and do not be discouraged. The rain will come...
The villagers prayed, fasted during the week, and went back to visit the farmer for more prayer. When the farmer saw them, he exclaimed: "Go back home, you do not believe." The people replied, "But we prayed, fasted and believe." The farmer replied, "If you believed, you would have brought some umbrellas..."
How many times do we request the God of Heaven for something but do not walk in the expectation that God will honor our request...? When we move in faith and pray, we must put some feet on it and do something that subscribes to the faith that we profess...
What are you doing today that coincides with your belief of faith...?
Sorrow looks down, worry looks around, but faith looks up...
"My faith looks up to thee...Thou Lamb of Calvary Savior divine...Now hear me while I pray...take all my guilt away...O let me this day...Be wholly Thine..."
