And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong. He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it]. —2 Timothy 2:24, 25
YOU MAY FOOL others regarding your weaknesses, but you will not fool the devil. He watches long and hard and knows precisely where the weaknesses are in your armor. ### may have thought it was a game he was playing with ### but it was only a matter of time before his point of vulnerability was exposed. And once exposed Satan will exploit that weakness whenever he needs to. He will continually work to set you up to be upset and lose the effectiveness of your Christian testimony. If he can provoke you to being contentious and angry with others, if he can work it so that you are harsh or impolite, he knows the light of truth will be dimmed so that others will not come to repentance. Do not underestimate your adversary—he knows what he's doing.
