Good Morning Family,
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34
The ongoing national economic crisis has many people wondering how they are going to make the ends meet from one day to the next. These questions are often parlayed into our conversations...
What will happen tomorrow...?
What kind of financial shape will one be in...tomorrow...?
We made it through yesterday...but what will happen tomorrow...?
The problem with thinking so much about tomorrow is that we miss out on living today. Thinking about tomorrow will cause undue stress that affects our current living status. Thinking about tomorrow will create problems that may not even happen. We are so fixated on tomorrow that we are missing out on today's blessings.
We are encouraged in this passage of scripture to take our minds off of tomorrow and seek God today. We miss out on being thankful today because we are so fixated on tomorrow. Remember the God we serve is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8). God has supplied your needs yesterday. God is supplying your needs today. God will supply your needs tomorrow.
Live today...For this is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice in today (Psalm 118:24).
"Many things about tomorrow...I don't seem to understand...but I know who holds tomorrow...because I know who holds my hand..."
