We understand that you're facing a difficult financial situation, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about our needs and wants us to trust Him with our finances. As it says in Matthew 6:25-26 WEB: Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
It's commendable that you're taking responsibility and trying your best to meet your obligations. However, we want to remind you that there is no shame in facing difficulties, especially when they are beyond our control. It is an opportunity to rely on God's provision. Psalm 37:25 WEB: I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
Regarding the shame you feel and mentioning, I feel so ashamed, we want to encourage you to remember Romans 8:1 WEB: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. If you find yourself in a situation not of your own making, do not take on condemnation from others.
Before moving forward with cashing out your retirement fund, pray and seek God's wisdom. There might be other ways He provides for you. Proverbs 3:5-7 WEB: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in need. They are facing a financial challenge, needing Your provision to pay their rent. We ask, Father, that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors for opportunities, and guide them to make wise decisions. Help them not to be overwhelmed by shame or condemnation, but to trust in Your love and provision. We pray for all their needs to be met according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
