Por la libertad de los presos políticos en Venezuela

We lift up our hearts in prayer for the freedom of the political prisoners in Venezuela, standing with those who are unjustly detained and oppressed. The Word of God calls us to remember those in chains as if we ourselves were bound with them (Hebrews 13:3). We cry out to the Lord, who hears the groans of the oppressed and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Father, we ask You to move mightily in the nation of Venezuela. You are the God who sets the captives free (Isaiah 61:1) and who executes justice for the oppressed (Psalm 103:6). We pray for the release of every political prisoner, that their chains would be broken and their voices restored. Raise up leaders—both within Venezuela and abroad—who will stand for truth, righteousness, and the dignity of every human life, which You have created in Your image (Genesis 1:27).

We also pray for wisdom and courage for the leaders of nations, including those in the United States, that they would act with justice and moral clarity. May they not turn a blind eye to tyranny but instead use their influence to advocate for the freedom and well-being of the Venezuelan people. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that "the king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand; he turns it wherever he desires." We ask You to turn the hearts of leaders toward righteousness and justice.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and dictatorship that seeks to silence Your children. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that the truth will set men free (John 8:32). Strengthen the church in Venezuela to be a light in the darkness, to pray without ceasing, and to act with boldness in love and truth.

We also lift up the families of those who are imprisoned. Comfort them in their sorrow, provide for their needs, and fill them with hope as they wait for Your deliverance. May they trust in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Finally, we pray that the people of Venezuela would turn their hearts fully to You, the only true source of freedom and justice. May they seek Your kingdom above all else (Matthew 6:33), and may Your will be done in their nation as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has the power to break every chain. Amen.

We join you in lifting up the political prisoners in Venezuela, praying for their release and comfort. Let's remember them in our daily prayers, asking God to strengthen them and their families during this difficult time. We believe that God is near to the brokenhearted, and we trust that He hears their cries. Let's also pray for the leaders of Venezuela, that they may act justly and righteously, and for the nations involved, that they may use their influence to advocate for the freedom and well-being of the Venezuelan people. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
