Good morning man of God I am ### from ### it's being more than ###yrs my kid brother started working but he has being miss using the money into drinking and goes to the bank and borrow more money and all that to continue drinking. It's a call for concern in the family and we are very worried for he just joint work and is ###yrs without a wife nor child but miss uses money Please help me pray for him

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God desires for us to be good stewards of the resources He provides. In this case, your brother is misusing his finances and borrowing money to fund harmful habits. This is not only financially irresponsible but also spiritually detrimental. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 23:20-21 WEB:

Do not be among ones who drink too much wine, or among those who gorge themselves on meat; for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags.

Moreover, the Bible warns us about the dangers of drunkenness and the misuse of money. In 1 Timothy 3:3,8 WEB, it says that leaders in the church as well as deacons should not be given to too much wine. This indicates that this is not what God wants for our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is entangled in financial mismanagement and harmful habits. Lord, we pray that You will convict his heart and help him see the error of his ways. Give him the strength to overcome his dependencies and the wisdom to manage his finances responsibly.

We pray, Lord, that you would work on your brother's heart to desire what you desire and to put you first in his life. We pray that you would deliver him from his desire for strong drink. Father God, we also pray for his salvation if he has not already believed on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to you. Acts 4:12 says that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Romans 10:9-10 says that if we believe in our heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, then we will be saved. It is with our mouth that we confess and are saved.
