We come before the Lord together, lifting up these burdens with hearts full of faith and trust in His perfect timing and provision. Father, we ask that You grant wisdom, focus, and discipline to complete every task on the PhD lists. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* We pray for clarity of mind and strength to persevere, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear will no longer paralyze or hinder progress. Instead, we ask for Your peace to guard the heart and mind, trusting in Your promises. Help to cast all anxieties upon You, for You care deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
We also lift up the family member struggling with dementia, asking for patience, compassion, and grace in every interaction. Your Word reminds us in Colossians 3:12-13, *"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Grant wisdom to navigate this season with love, dignity, and understanding.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and we humbly submit these requests, trusting in Your will. Strengthen faith, renew hope, and fill with Your Holy Spirit to walk in obedience and victory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
