We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and anxious about your final essays for graduate school, and we are here to support and pray with you. First, we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
It is important to remember that our adequacy is not from ourselves, but from God, and it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:5 WEB, not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God. Therefore, let us come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need. As it is written in Hebrews 4:16 WEB, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with fear, anxiety, and feelings of inadequacy as they work on their final essays for graduate school. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask You to fill them with Your power, love, and a sound mind. Help them to know that their adequacy is not from themselves, but from You, Lord.
We pray for their writing process, that You would give them clarity of thought, the ability to express themselves well, and the confidence to complete their essays with excellence. Help them to progress easily and to finish their work as quickly as possible.
We also pray that they would fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith. May they know that it is You who has begun a good work in them, and You will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Philippians 1:6 WEB, being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He is with you every step of the way. We are here for you, and we believe that God will enable you to complete your essays with excellence and in a timely manner.
