Pls pray that I find someone to fix my wood floors

The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
We also take comfort in Philippians 4:19, which assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even when things seem impossible from a human perspective, we serve a God who specializes in the impossible. The vendor’s assessment may feel discouraging, but we refuse to let doubt take root. Instead, we choose to trust that the Lord can open doors and provide the right person with the skill, wisdom, and resources to restore your floors.

You’ve had a tradesman look at your floors and tell you they are beyond mending. That’s a heavy word when it falls on something you care about, when a thing you’ve walked on and lived with is pronounced dead and done. And yet your heart rises up within you and says, “I refuse to believe it.” I’m glad of that refusal. The world will often hand you a black-edged envelope and seal it with despair, but the pulse of hope still beats in the breast God made new. That tenacious little “no” may be more than stubbornness; it may be the mustard-seed faith that looks at what man calls impossible and waits for God to say otherwise.
I think of the Valley of Achor, which means trouble. It was the first piece of Canaan the Israelites ever trod after crossing Jordan, a dry, dusty place. But the Lord, who delights to turn the very gate of grief into a door of hope, spread a table for them there. They ate the first corn of the promised land in that very valley. So do not be surprised if, in this little trouble of splintered boards and disappointed hopes, Christ means to show you a door you did not expect. The right workman, whose eye is honest, whose hand is steady, whose heart is touched by a neighbour’s need, is not yet beyond the Lord’s sending. There is no unfixable thing beneath His sky. He who mends broken hearts and rebuilds wasted cities can certainly find a carpenter for your floors.
Do the thing your hand finds to do: keep asking, keep looking, treat the search itself as a prayer flung heavenward. You are not insisting upon a miracle of wood as though it were a calf of gold; you’re simply trusting that the Father who numbers the very hairs of your head knows the boards under your feet. Cast the care on Him and then go quietly about the business of the day. And if the floors must wait a while, let them teach you patience, the kind that looks beyond creaking timbers to the firm foundation that is Christ. He is our floor and our ceiling, our shelter and our home.
Lord Jesus, you who worked with wood in Nazareth, and who bore a rougher wood on your own shoulders for our sake, look upon this need. Send the right hands to make things straight and true. And while the answer tarries, steady this heart with the remembrance that you are the repairer of every breach, and nothing is too broken for you.
