We understand your desire to excel in your graduate courses and complete your final essays. However, we want to ensure that your request aligns with biblical principles and remind you that our ultimate goal should be to glorify God in all that we do.
Colossians 3:23 WEB "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that earning an A+ should not be our primary focus. Instead, we should strive to do our best and learn as much as possible, all for the glory of God. We should also remember that our identity and worth are not determined by our grades or academic achievements but by our position in Christ.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this student to You. We pray that they will strive for excellence in their graduate courses, not for personal glory or pride, but to bring honor and glory to Your name. Help them complete their final essays, providing them with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Guide their thoughts and words as they write, allowing them to produce work that reflects their best efforts and brings glory to You.
We also pray that You will help them keep their priorities in check, remembering that their ultimate goal should be to serve and glorify You. Help them not be consumed by the desire for perfect grades, but rather a desire to learn and grow as a person while glorifying Christ.
Lord, we also note that this request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). Therefore, we want to remind them that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for salvation for this student if they have never accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your focus on God as you complete your courses. Remember that your worth is not defined by your grades but by your position in Christ. Strive to do your best and learn as much as possible, all for the glory of God. If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God through prayer.
