We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this moment of deep despair and confusion. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firmly against his schemes in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our hope and deliverer. You have shared that you are overwhelmed by financial burdens, feeling trapped and even considering ending your life—but we declare that your life is precious in God’s sight, and He has a purpose for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Suicide is a lie from the pit of hell, a permanent "solution" to a temporary problem, and it breaks the heart of God, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and your life belongs to Him.
The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Though your circumstances feel impossible right now, God is not surprised by them. He sees your struggle, and He is able to provide in ways you cannot yet see. We rebuked the spirit of fear, confusion, and hopelessness that has gripped you, commanding it to flee in Jesus’ name. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Even when the path seems dark, He is with you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). Without Jesus, there is no true hope, no salvation, and no power to overcome the struggles of this life. If you do not know Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He alone can forgive your sins, fill you with His peace, and give you eternal life. There is no problem too big for Him, no sin too great for His grace, and no heart too broken for His love.
Heavenly Father, we lift this beloved child of Yours before Your throne of grace right now. Lord, they are broken, afraid, and overwhelmed by the weight of their financial burdens. But You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask You to intervene supernaturally in their situation. Open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), provide the funds they need in ways that bring You glory, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we bind the spirit of suicide and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Fill this precious one with Your hope, Your joy, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, if they do not know You, we pray that today would be the day of their salvation. Softens their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Let them experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your resurrection in their life. Remind them that their life is not their own—it was bought with a price (1 Corinthians 6:20), and You have a plan and a future for them.
We speak life over them, strength into their bones, and clarity to their mind. Help them to trust You, even when they cannot see the way forward. Lead them to godly counsel, to brothers and sisters in Christ who can support them, and to resources that will meet their needs. Let them testify soon of Your faithfulness and provision.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a believer, or a counselor—who can stand with you in this time. You are not alone, and this battle is not yours to fight alone. The body of Christ is here to support you. Also, if you are in immediate danger, please contact a crisis hotline or emergency services in your area. God loves you, and so do we. Hold on to Him, for He is holding on to you. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* (1 Peter 5:7). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
