Living three months without dependable water in your kitchen is a heavy and wearing trial, and your desire for a quick and excellent resolution is completely understandable. It is right to bring this need to the Lord and to ask Him to move on behalf of those who have responsibility to help you.
Scripture presents God as the God of patience and the God of comfort. One of the reasons He has given us His Word is to build those two things in us, and as patience and comfort grow, hope grows with them. You are in a season that is testing patience in a very practical way, and God sees the waiting and the inconvenience you have carried day after day.
The Bible often links patience with trusting God while we wait after we have done what is right. We are told we have need of patience so that after we have done the will of God we may receive what He has promised. James encourages us to be patient and to establish our souls, like a farmer who waits for the precious fruit of the harvest. He waits because the harvest is certain, even though it takes time. Peter reminds us that what feels like delay to us is not forgetfulness on God's part. He is patient and He is working out His purposes in His perfect timing.
That does not mean we are passive. It is good to continue to make the need clearly known to those responsible and to ask the Lord to provide exactly what is needed, reliable and skilled workers who will do the job well. God often makes provision to work in ways we do not expect, and we can give Him room to work while we keep asking. He is able to open doors for the right contractor to uninstall and reinstall the cabinet and for the right plumber to restore the water, and to move the hearts of those who must approve and schedule the work.
I am praying with you that God will bring comfort and steady hope to you in this waiting, and that He will provide soon for your home. May He give you peace as you wait, guide the decisions of those in authority, and bring forward trustworthy, excellent workers who will complete the kitchen repairs properly and restore water without further delay. May you see His care in the provision and be strengthened to trust Him through this process, knowing that He hears your prayer and is faithful to act in His time.
