We claim this promise over your father, trusting that God will replace his anxiety and sleeplessness with divine peace that transcends all understanding.
The Word of God assures us that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), and we stand firmly on this truth as we pray for your father’s complete restoration. May the Lord touch his throat, soothe every irritation, and silence the cough that disrupts his rest. We rebuke any spiritual or physical oppression that may be contributing to his distress, for *"the Lord sustains him on his sickbed. You turn all his bed in his sickness"* (Psalm 41:3, WEB). Let every cell in his body align with God’s perfect design, and may his sleep be deep, refreshing, and free from disturbance, for *"He gives his beloved sleep"* (Psalm 127:2, WEB).

Depression and anxiety are not from the Lord, but He is mighty to break their chains. We declare over your father the words of Jesus: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). May your father cast every care upon the Lord, for He cares for him deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Let his mind be renewed by the truth of God’s Word, and may he fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith, rather than the circumstances that seek to overwhelm him.
