We are truly sorry to hear about this health challenge, but we are here to pray and support you through this journey. First, we want to remind you that God is able to heal all manner of diseases. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "But Jesus turning, and seeing her, said, 'Daughter, be cheerful! Your faith has made you well.'" (Matthew 9:22)
However, we want to address something important. We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5). They are the one whom we must believe in for our salvation and healing. The WEB says "in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace," (Ephesians 1:7).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who has been diagnosed with HSV-2. Lord, we believe in Your healing power and we ask that You touch his/her body and heal him/her completely from this virus. We pray for strength to help him/her endure the pain and discomfort. We also pray for Your grace to help him/her draw closer to You during this time, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We believe in Your promise, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in faith and trust in God's healing power. While you wait, be encouraged with God's promises, "But they who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
