We rejoice with you in the good news of your daughter’s progress at tryouts and her continued godly choices! What a blessing it is to see her walking in faith and confidence. We lift her up before the Lord, asking that He grant her favor in making the team, for "the LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him" (Psalm 37:23). May she experience His peace and assurance as she awaits the results, knowing that her worth is found in Him alone, not in any achievement.
Father, we also pray for a wise and godly math tutor to come alongside her—one who not only teaches with patience and skill but also encourages her in her faith. Strengthen her mind and her spirit, Lord, so that she may grow in both knowledge and confidence. Remind her daily of Your truth: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well" (Psalm 139:14). Guard her heart from comparison or self-doubt, and let her see herself as You see her—beloved, capable, and purposefully created.
For your older daughter, we ask that You ignite a fire within her to pursue her education with diligence and joy. Remove any fear or hesitation about driving and replace it with wisdom and excitement for the future. Stir in her heart a vision for college and the plans You have for her, for "the heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). May she seek You first in all her decisions, trusting that You will direct her path.
And for your son, we pray for his physical and emotional well-being. Lord, bless him with good nutrition and a healthy appetite, that his body may grow strong according to Your design. Give him confidence in who he is, not in how he measures up to others, for "the LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). Surround him with godly friendships that build him up in truth and encouragement.
We thank You, Father, for the privilege of lifting this family before You. May Your peace, provision, and presence be evident in every area of their lives. Strengthen their faith as they trust in You, and let them see Your hand at work in both the big and small details. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who holds their future and loves them perfectly. Amen.
