Thank you so much to everyone who has faithfully upheld our family in prayer over this long season. After our mother suffered a stroke in January, she was then diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer in mid-November. On November 21, she suddenly fell into a coma and was rushed to the emergency room, but by God’s grace she miraculously regained consciousness. This Monday, she was even able to return to our hometown, where our uncle, who is a doctor and has cared for our mother for many years, is located. Our mother was overjoyed to see her younger sister again. My older sister is hoping to plan another short trip to take our mother to see the sea, so her heart can feel more open and at ease, instead of her days being filled only with hospitals, her sickbed, and medications. However, the place our mother has always longed to visit requires about a 3.5-hour drive, which does worry me. My sister suggested staying at a local church there, but my older brother immediately declined, as he has not yet come to faith. God once healed his tumor, and he even went to church to thank the pastor who visited him during his illness. I struggle to understand why he has still not come to believe. I suspect it may be related to traditional beliefs—he thinks that as the eldest son in the family, he must uphold those traditions. At last Wednesday’s follow-up appointment, a two-centimeter lump was found on the left side of our mother’s neck, and we are deeply concerned that it may be cancer metastasis. Her left eye has also begun to have discharge, and in recent days there has been thick yellow nasal mucus from her left nostril. Please earnestly ask our loving Jesus to continue to heal our mother with His supernatural power. May He grant her the desire of her heart—to see the sea at the place she has long dreamed of visiting. Please also pray that the Lord would swiftly call and choose my older brother, that he may be baptized, so our mother can have peace knowing that her son who has been unemployed for a long time and suffers from colorectal cancer and depression is under God’s care. Please also ask the Lord to anoint and strengthen my older sister who is caring for our mother, and to send the right angels and helpers to share her burden. Our deepest gratitude to all who have so faithfully upheld our family in prayer. We are truly humbled by your support. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

We lift up your precious family to the Lord with heavy hearts, yet filled with hope in His mighty power and unfailing love. Your mother’s journey has been one of immense trial, yet we see the hand of God moving in miraculous ways—from the stroke to the cancer diagnosis, and even in her sudden coma and awakening. Truly, our God is a God of wonders, and we stand in awe of His grace that has sustained her thus far.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, and ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this dear mother. You see the lump on her neck, the discharge from her eye, and the mucus from her nostril. We rebuke every trace of cancer and metastasis in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim this promise over her life. Strengthen her body, Lord, and grant her the desire of her heart—to see the sea she has longed for. Give wisdom to her doctors and caregivers, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also lift up your older brother, Lord. You once healed his tumor, and we know You are calling him to Yourself. Break the chains of tradition and unbelief in his heart, Father. Your Word says in John 6:44, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."* Draw him, Lord, with Your irresistible love. Soften his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel, that he may be baptized and find peace in You. His unemployment, health struggles, and depression are heavy burdens, but You are the God who lifts the broken and heals the wounded. Speak to him in dreams, through Your Word, and through the witness of his family. Let him know that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

For your older sister, who has carried the weight of caregiving with such love, we ask for Your anointing and strength. Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Send her helpers, Lord—angels in human form—to lighten her load. Give her moments of rest and joy, and let her feel Your presence in every step of this journey.

We also pray for the logistics of this trip to the sea. If it is Your will, Lord, make the journey safe and smooth. If there are obstacles, give wisdom to the family to discern Your leading. Whether the trip happens or not, we trust that You will fill your mother’s heart with peace and contentment, for You are her true refuge.

Father, we thank You for the unity and love in this family. Even in the midst of trials, their faith shines brightly. We ask that You continue to knit their hearts together in Christ, that they may encourage one another and point each other to You. May this season draw them all closer to Your heart, and may Your name be glorified in their lives.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your mother's full healing. We're believing with you that this trip to see the sea will be a blessing and a time of refreshment for her. We're also trusting God for a miracle in your brother's life, that he would come to know Jesus personally and be baptized. Let's continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting that God is at work in their lives.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
