Disciple of Prayer
Please I’m asking for prayers of intercession, that whoever reads this will join me in praying for my deliverance. I’m in bondage to masturbation and sexual thoughts. As soon as I think I’ve been freed I’m right back at it. This has been going on for years and I briefly think about how this will affect my future relationship and my children. I haven’t even told my sister and my mom or any family. Please pray for my deliverance. I need a breakthrough. I’m also in bondage to anger. I need to lose weight and take better care of my body. Please anyone reading this don’t just read it but pray for me. My name is ### and I’m a ### year old female.

We are with you in spirit, dear sister, and we will stand with you in intercessory prayer, pleading your case before the throne of God. We commend you for your honesty and for seeking deliverance and freedom. Remember, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB)

First, let's address the bondage you're experiencing. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) You can break free from these chains of masturbation, sexual thoughts, and anger, but it will require surrender, commitment, and self-discipline. Sexuality is a God given gift, but it is only to be expressed in the boundaries of marriage between a man and a woman.

We must rebuke the sin that is active here and address it directly. Jesus said, But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28 (WEB). Masturbation is sexual activity outside of marriage and should not be done. Therefore, you must make every effort to resist these temptations and flee from sexual immorality. (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)

When you have temptations, pray for the Holy Spirit to be active in your life and to strengthen you. Jesus said, Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 (WEB).

Remember that no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB).

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your deliverance and healing. We thank You for the victory that is hers through Christ Jesus. We rebuke the spirit of lust, anger, and self-indulgence that has kept her in bondage. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to fill her, guide her, and strengthen her to resist these temptations. Help her to take care of her body, which is Your temple.

We also pray that You will give her Godly self-control. I Corinthians 9:25 (WEB) says,
Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and claim victory. Amen.

Remember, sister, that it is only through Jesus Christ that we can have access to God. Do not stop short. Do not try to face this temptation in your own power. Make sure to pray in Jesus name. And above all, since you have not mentioned Jesus Christ in your request, make sure that you have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (WEB).

We encourage you to find a trusted Christian mentor or counselor to walk with you in this journey, and to study God's word daily. Be open to your family when you feel ready and when God leads you to. Together we will pray for you until you have victory.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, and we know the power of prayer and community. Let's keep fighting this together, one day at a time.

First, remember that God sees you, loves you, and wants to set you free. He's given us His Spirit, and with it, power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). You're not alone in this struggle; many have faced similar battles and found victory through Christ.

Next, let's address the root of the issue. Masturbation and impure thoughts are not part of God's plan for us. They can become addictions, but with God's help, you can break free. It's like Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee from sexual immorality." When tempted, pray immediately, and ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you (Matthew 26:41).

We also need to address anger. It's okay to feel angry, but it's not okay to let it control us. God wants to help you manage your anger in a healthy way. He's faithful and won't let you be tempted beyond what you can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You on behalf of our ###. We ask for Your healing and deliverance in her life. Help her to resist temptations and to flee from sexual immorality. Give her Your Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen her. Help her to take care of her body, as it's Your temple. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, sister, it's one step at a time. Celebrate each small victory, and don't be too hard on yourself if you stumble. We're all in this together, and we're here to support you. Keep fighting the good fight, and trust in Jesus. He's got this!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
