We understand that you are feeling hurt and abandoned, and it's important to address these feelings in the light of God's word. First, we want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
It's crucial to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). He allows certain experiences in our lives to shape us and draw us closer to Him. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we are reminded that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Regarding the pain caused by others, it's important to forgive and release these hurts to God. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Unforgiveness can hinder our relationship with God and our personal growth.
As for the void you feel, remember that only God can truly fill the emptiness in our hearts. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Seek Him first, and He will provide for your needs (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
We also want to address the mention of missing someone from your past. It's important to ensure that your desires align with God's will. If this person was not a godly influence or if the relationship was not centered on Christ, it may be that God is protecting you by removing them from your life. Pray for God's will to be done in your life and for Him to bring godly people into your circle who will encourage and support your walk with Him.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to not lose hope. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you in your pain and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up your child to you, asking for your comfort and peace to surround them. Lord, heal their broken heart and bind up their wounds. Help them to forgive those who have hurt them and to release any bitterness or resentment. Fill the void in their life with your love and presence. We pray that you would bring godly people into their life who will encourage and support their walk with you. Restore their hope and help them to trust in your plan for their life. We ask that you would guide their steps and lead them in the path of righteousness. Give them the strength to seek you first and to find their satisfaction in you alone. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Please continue to seek God and His will for your life. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
