We come before You, Heavenly Father, with hearts burdened by the struggles shared in this plea. We lift up this situation to You, knowing that You are a God of justice, mercy, and deliverance. Your Word tells us in Psalm 91:14-15, *"Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him."* Lord, we claim this promise over the lives of those who are crying out to You now.
Father, we ask that You soften the heart of the one described as difficult. Your Word says in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We pray that You break through any hardness, confusion, or resistance in their spirit. Help them to communicate with clarity, honesty, and love, just as You have called us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). May they experience the freedom that comes from walking in Your ways and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up the matter of forgiveness. Lord, You have commanded us in Colossians 3:13 to *"bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* We pray that any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness be uprooted from their hearts. Help them to extend the same grace and mercy that You have so freely given to us. Let Your love flow through them, healing wounds and restoring relationships.
Father, we stand in the gap for protection over their property, work, and studies. Your Word declares in Psalm 121:7-8, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."* We rebuke every evil influence, every harassing spirit, and every attempt of the enemy to disrupt their lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. Lord, we ask that You send Your angels to encamp around them, shielding them from harm and confusion (Psalm 34:7).
We also bring before You the issue of financial harassment. Father, You know the burdens they carry, and we ask that You provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in handling their finances, and if there are unjust demands being made, we ask that You intervene. Your Word says in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* We trust that You will fight on their behalf and bring justice to this situation.
Lord, we recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word—and we stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We declare that every evil plan against them will be thwarted, and that Your light will expose and dispel every darkness. As it is written in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
Father, we ask that You bring deliverance and breakthrough in every area of their lives. Strengthen them in their work and studies, granting them focus, wisdom, and favor. Your Word promises in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We hold fast to this promise, believing that You have good plans for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them.
Lastly, we want to gently remind them—and all who read this—that salvation and access to You, Father, come only through the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage them to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can come boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
