Last year around this time a guy came up to me, confessing to me that he really liked me very much. After some time we started dating. It was a long distance relationship, since he was and still is living where we met and I am in the Netherlands. Beginning December I went to see him for a visit. It turned out into a big conflict situation unfortunately. We had a lot of arguments and I was and am still really very upset about the way that he apparently has cut me out of his life. We are both Christians, he a very young Muslim background believing Christian.
Just before Xmas, I sent him two books and one is a book in his mother tongue. I also have included a long letter for him. Please, I ask you to pray that he will make efforts to read the letter and that his heart will soften so that he will remember that no matter what I was always there for him. May by God's grace, what we have lost be restored. We both need God's mercy, forgiveness, and grace. I love this guy from my heart. We more or less talked about sharing a future. He is really a lovely person but so very hurt by others. Also, there is still so much he needs to learn and so do I. Please that we will start seeking God more. I wanted to call him after 6 January. I just hope that he will answer my call. I just cannot believe that I got so misunderstood in so many ways, while I have tried my hardest to give him the best of all things that I could give. I am just missing him so very much. I like to get married with the right one. I am 45 now and I find it really hard to be alone. Thank you for standing with me in prayer.
