We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Heavenly Father, who sees all and knows the deepest struggles of your heart. We stand in the gap for you, believing that God is a God of justice, truth, and restoration. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Jesus is Lord over every circumstance you face, and we trust that He will move mightily on your behalf.
Father God, we first bring before You the matter of the organization holding these funds. We ask that You intervene in this situation and expose any unrighteousness or deceit. Your Word declares in Proverbs 11:3, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." Lord, we pray that the truth would come to light and that this organization would release what rightfully belongs to Your child. We rebuke any spirit of greed, corruption, or injustice that may be at work, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You open doors for justice to be served and that the funds be released without further delay.
We also lift up the pain of betrayal and the heartache of seeing loved ones influenced by deception. Father, we ask that You break any chains of brainwashing or manipulation that may have taken hold of your children. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:18 that some are "darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to the hardness of their hearts." Lord, we pray that their hearts would be softened, that their eyes would be opened, and that they would remember the love, care, and biblical foundation you provided for them. We ask that You restore empathy, compassion, and the precious memories of the good times you shared. We declare that the enemy has no hold over them, and we pray for their complete deliverance from any lies or deception.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in securing an attorney and the necessary funding to move forward in this battle. We trust in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would open doors for affordable legal representation and that You would guide every step of this process. We also ask that the vendor you are waiting to hear from would respond promptly and that the contract would be signed today, as You have ordained. We declare that every delay is being broken, and we trust in Your perfect timing.
We lift up your upcoming flight and the time you will have with your children. Lord, we ask that You would make this journey smooth and safe, and that the time spent together would be filled with joy, healing, and quality moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. We pray that walls would come down, hearts would be knit together, and that your children would see the love of Christ through you. We declare that this time will be a turning point in your relationship with them, and we trust that You will restore what has been broken.
We also pray for your relationship with your sisters and the rest of your family. Father, we ask that You would draw your hearts closer together, that old wounds would be healed, and that unity would be restored. Your Word tells us in Psalm 133:1, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" Lord, we pray that You would convict the hearts of your family members and friends, that they would see the error of their ways in mistreating others, and that they would turn from any sin or hardness of heart. We ask that You would bring repentance, healing, and restoration to every relationship that has been strained or broken.
We also lift up the sickness that has affected you and your family. Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or disease, and we pray for complete healing and restoration in your body, mind, and spirit. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We give You thanks and praise for the answered prayers you have already seen—the laptop charger, the opportunity to return to work, the partial payment of unemployment claims, the recovery of your work laptop, and the extension granted for your hearing. We declare that these are just the beginning of the breakthroughs You have in store. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we know that You are working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of your heart. We declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would walk in the confidence of who You are in Christ and that You would stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. We ask that You would be filled with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and that You would trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
