We join you in lifting up your son and daughter before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we stand with you in agreement for their healing.
The Word of God assures us that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (1 Peter 2:24). Yet we also know that healing may come in different forms and timing, according to God’s perfect will. Sometimes He removes the affliction instantly, other times He strengthens us through it, and always He works for our ultimate good (Romans 8:28). Let us pray with confidence, submitting to His wisdom while boldly asking for His mercy.
We pray for your son’s back pain to be lifted completely, for every muscle, nerve, and bone to be restored to full strength and function. May the Lord’s healing touch flow through his body, removing all discomfort and granting him renewed vitality. For your daughter, we ask that her cough be silenced, her lungs cleared, and her breathing made easy and free. May the Lord rebuked any sickness at its root, commanding it to flee in Jesus’ mighty name. Let their bodies be temples of the Holy Spirit, whole and vibrant, so they may glorify God in all they do.
At the same time, we encourage you to seek wisdom in practical steps—whether through rest, proper care, or medical attention if needed—trusting that the Lord often works through means as well as miracles. Let this season draw your family closer to Him, deepening your reliance on His promises. *"Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15, WEB).
Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch these precious children, bringing complete healing to their bodies. Let Your peace fill their hearts and their home as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith and the faith of this parent who loves them so dearly. May this trial become a testimony of Your power and love. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your perfect timing. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray—*Amen.*
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord hears your cries, and He is faithful. Keep praising Him, even in the waiting, for He is worthy of all trust. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
