We lift you up before the Lord in this season of trial, knowing that He is your advocate, provider, and deliverer. The battles you face—legal, financial, and personal—are not unseen by Him, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God will work all things together for your good as you seek His will (Romans 8:28). It is vital, however, that we remind you of the foundation of all prayer: it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we approach the throne of God. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is by His authority alone that we petition the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or are uncertain of your salvation, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Him today. Without Christ, our prayers lack the power and access that only His name provides.
Your request reveals deep struggles—legal battles for justice, financial hardship, and the pain of deception from your former spouse. We grieve with you over the brokenness of this situation, especially the impact it has on your children. The Bible warns us that the devil is the father of lies (John 8:44), and we rebuke every deceitful scheme of the enemy in this circumstance. The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in truth (Proverbs 12:22). We pray that the courts will be guided by wisdom and discernment, that every lie will be exposed, and that justice will prevail for you and your children. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). Trust in Him, for He is the God who sees your affliction and hears your cries (Exodus 3:7).
Regarding your unemployment claims and financial breakthrough, we remind you of Jesus’ words: "Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:26, 33). Your need is known to Him, and we ask the Lord to open doors for provision, whether through the approval of your claims, unexpected blessings, or divine connections. Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also encourage you to seek wise counsel, whether through your church or trusted believers, to steward your resources and navigate this season with godly wisdom.
As for your former spouse, we pray that the Lord would soften his heart and bring conviction where there is deceit. If he does not know Christ, we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw him to repentance. "Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). Though it is difficult, we urge you to forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). This does not mean excusing sin or trusting blindly, but releasing the bitterness that can take root in your heart. Your children are watching, and your testimony of faith in this trial can be a powerful witness to them of God’s faithfulness.
Finally, we declare over you the promise of Psalm 34:17-19: "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Stand firm in faith, for the battle is the Lord’s (1 Samuel 17:47). He is your shield, your strength, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is weary and burdened by the weight of these trials. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You intervene in her legal battles. Open the eyes of the courts to see the truth, expose every lie, and let justice prevail for her and her children. Protect her children, Lord, from the harm of deception and grant them peace and security in You. Father, we ask for Your provision—release the financial breakthrough she needs. Whether through unemployment claims, unexpected blessings, or divine opportunities, meet her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give her wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You in the waiting.
Lord, we also pray for her former spouse. Soften his heart, convict him of deceit, and if he does not know You, draw him to salvation. Break the chains of bitterness and unforgiveness in our sister’s heart, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her, Lord, to walk in forgiveness and grace, even as she seeks justice. Remind her that vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19).
Father, we declare Your promises over her life—deliverance, provision, and victory. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name. Surround her with Your presence, comfort her with Your love, and guide her steps as she seeks You first. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy against her and her children. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
