We join you in your petition, believing that nothing is impossible with God, for He says, "For with God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37 WEB). It is wonderful that you have come to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed and saved. It is commendable that you are seeking a job to serve your church and family. The scripture assures us that God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
However, we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). It is imperative to align your desires with God's will and to seek His kingdom first, knowing that all other things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33 WEB). As you seek this job, remember that every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17 WEB), and God will provide what is best for you in His time. God is your sufficiency for all things and will exalt you in due time. (1 Peter 5:6)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You know the deepest desires of his/her heart, and we ask that You align them with Your perfect will. We petition You for a job that will allow him/her to serve Your church and family. Give him/her unwavering faith and unshakable confidence in Your ability to provide. Help him/her submit to you, resist the devil and draw near to You while You draw near to him/her during this time of seeking Your will. (James 4:7-8). Help him/her resist any temptation to see this job as a means to satisfy selfish desires, but rather as a means to serve You and others. (James 4:3). Guide him/her through this process, and let Your will be done in his/her life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
