We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer during this challenging time. We commend you for putting your trust in Jesus, for He is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer. Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is battling anxiety and depression. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray that You would be their strength and shield, their ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1,11).
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Replace their anxiety and depression with Your joy. We know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
Please, Father, guide them to fully trust in You, casting all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, thinking about things that are excellent and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8). In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, dear one, that God promises to never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). He is faithful, and His love for you is unfailing. Continue to trust in Jesus, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms: "Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will see you through.
We will continue to pray for you throughout this week and beyond. Please keep us updated on how you are doing.
