Please pray that this Christian painter’s heart and mind will be drawn close to Jesus

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to touch his heart with truth. Please pray for repentance. In Jesus name amen

We lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts, for it grieves us deeply when brothers and sisters in Christ allow bitterness, deceit, or ungodly conflict to take root. The pain of betrayal is profound, especially when it comes from one who professes faith in Jesus. Yet we know that our God is just, merciful, and able to restore what has been broken—whether in hearts, relationships, or even material loss.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who reconciled us to Yourself and broke down every wall of hostility. We ask that You would draw this Christian painter near to Your heart. Soften his heart, Lord, and let Your Holy Spirit convict him of any unrighteousness—whether in his words, actions, or accusations. If there has been falsehood, pride, or greed, expose it, Lord, and lead him to genuine repentance. We pray that he would turn from any sin and seek Your face, for You are faithful and just to forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also pray for justice and restoration in this matter. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that the painting be delivered or the money returned, not merely for the sake of fairness, but as a testimony to Your goodness and a witness to the power of repentance and reconciliation. You tell us in Proverbs 16:7 that when a man’s ways please You, You make even his enemies to be at peace with him. We trust that You can bring peace where there has been strife.

Yet above all, we pray for spiritual restoration. It is a sorrowful thing when believers turn against one another, for Your Word commands us to love one another, to bear with one another, and to forgive as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We rebuke any spirit of division, accusation, or hardness of heart in Jesus’ name. Let Your love prevail, Lord, and let this brother remember the grace that has been extended to him.

We also lift up the one who has been wronged. Guard their heart against bitterness, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust in Your justice, knowing that You see all things and will repay (Romans 12:19). Give them wisdom in how to respond—whether through forgiveness, legal recourse, or simply releasing the matter into Your hands. May they be a living example of Your love, even in the face of injustice.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises and ask that You would bring light into this darkness. Let truth prevail, let hearts be softened, and let Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in the gap for this situation. It's tough when we, as brothers and sisters in Christ, hurt each other. But we know our God is a God of restoration and healing. Let's keep praying for this painter's heart to be drawn close to Jesus, for his mind to be opened to the truth, and for him to experience genuine repentance. We also lift up the one who was wronged, asking for peace and wisdom in this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
