Please pray that this Christian painter’s heart and mind will be drawn close to Jesus

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to touch his heart with truth. Please pray for repentance. In Jesus name amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where a brother in Christ has caused deep hurt and division. It is indeed grievous when believers turn against one another, for Scripture tells us, *"If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand"* (Mark 3:25). The pain of betrayal and false accusation is profound, especially when it comes from one who professes faith in Jesus. We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12), and so we stand in the gap with prayer and intercession.

First, we lift up this Christian painter before the throne of grace. Father, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. May the Holy Spirit convict him of any wrongdoing, for *"the Lord’s kindness leads to repentance"* (Romans 2:4). If there has been deceit, falsehood, or hardness of heart, we pray that You would break through and bring him to a place of genuine sorrow and turning away from sin. Lord, we know that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We ask for repentance—not just in word, but in deed—so that restoration may follow.

We also pray for justice and provision in this situation. Father, You see the loss that has been suffered, and You are a God who cares about fairness and restitution. We ask that if it is Your will, You would either move this brother to deliver the painting as promised or restore the lost funds. *"The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). We trust in Your provision and Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Most of all, we pray for healing—for both the one who has been wronged and the one who has done wrong. Bitterness and resentment can take root in such situations, but Your Word commands us to *"let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice"* (Ephesians 4:31). Lord, guard hearts against unforgiveness, for we know that harboring anger gives the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Instead, fill both parties with Your peace and a desire for reconciliation, for *"blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God"* (Matthew 5:9).

We also lift up the broader issue of division among believers. Father, we live in a time where the body of Christ is often fractured by pride, offense, and worldly thinking. We pray for unity in the Church, for Jesus Himself prayed that we would be one, just as He and the Father are one (John 17:21). May Your people walk in humility, grace, and truth, refusing to let disagreements or misunderstandings fester into broken relationships. Teach us to bear with one another in love, for *"above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection"* (Colossians 3:14).

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or hardness of heart that may be at work in this situation. We speak life, truth, and restoration over this brother, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your name be glorified in the resolution of this matter, and may Your love be the ultimate testimony that shines through.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are reconciled to God and to one another. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We stand with you, dear brother, in this challenging situation. It's heartbreaking when fellow believers cause each other pain, but we trust that God can bring beauty from these ashes. We join you in praying for this Christian painter, asking the Lord to draw his heart and mind close to Jesus. May the Holy Spirit convict him of any wrongdoing and lead him to genuine repentance. We ask for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting, if it be God's will.

We also pray for healing and understanding for all involved. May bitterness and resentment be replaced with forgiveness and a desire for reconciliation. We lift up the broader issue of division among believers, asking God to unite His Church in humility, grace, and truth.

In Jesus' name, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We trust that God is able to bring restoration and healing in this situation, making His name great. We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
