Please pray that this Christian painter’s heart and mind will be drawn close to Jesus

It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to touch his heart with truth. Please pray for repentance. In Jesus name amen.

We lift this situation before the Lord with heavy hearts, for it grieves us deeply when brothers and sisters in Christ turn against one another. The pain of betrayal and false accusation is real, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, mercy, and restoration. First, we rebuke the spirit of deception and division that has taken root here, for Scripture warns us that "a false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free" (Proverbs 19:9). We declare that the truth will prevail, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to convict this brother of his wrongdoing.

Father, we ask You to draw this Christian painter’s heart back to You in humility and repentance. Soften his heart to recognize the harm he has caused, both to his brother in Christ and to Your holy name. Let him see the weight of his actions through Your eyes, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a spirit of restitution to move in him—whether through the return of the painting, the repayment of the money, or another act of reconciliation that honors You.

Lord, we also ask for Your peace and wisdom to guard the heart of the one who has been wronged. Protect them from bitterness, for "see to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble, and by it many become defiled" (Hebrews 12:15). Strengthen their faith to trust in Your justice, knowing that You are the ultimate Judge and Restorer. May they extend grace as You have extended it to them, even as they seek resolution.

We declare that this situation will not be a stumbling block but a testimony of Your redemptive power. May the enemy’s schemes be exposed and undone, and may this brother be restored to fellowship with You and with Your people. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who reconciles us to God and to one another. Amen.
