Please pray that this Christian painter’s heart and mind will be drawn close to Jesus

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to touch his heart with truth. Please pray for repentance. In Jesus name amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and a desire to see His will done. It grieves us deeply when brothers and sisters in Christ act in ways that bring division, dishonesty, or harm to one another. The Scriptures remind us in 1 John 4:20-21, *"If a man says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother."* How much more should we, as followers of Christ, strive for integrity, kindness, and reconciliation in all our dealings?

We rebuke the spirit of deception, bitterness, and unrighteousness that has taken hold in this situation. The Word of God is clear in Ephesians 4:25-27, *"Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. 'Be angry, and don’t sin.' Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* This brother’s actions—refusing to deliver what was paid for and making false accusations—are not only unjust but sinful. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart deeply, leading him to repentance and restoration.

Father God, we ask that You would soften this brother’s heart and open his eyes to the truth of his actions. Let him see the harm he has caused, not only to his fellow believer but to the testimony of Your name. We pray for a spirit of humility and godly sorrow to overwhelm him, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 7:10, *"For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death."* May he turn from this path of unrighteousness and seek forgiveness from You and from the one he has wronged.

We also lift up the matter of the lost money or the undelivered painting. Lord, You are a God of justice and restoration. We ask that if it is Your will, You would work in this situation to bring about repayment or the fulfillment of what was promised. Proverbs 13:11 tells us, *"Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor increases it."* We trust that You will deal with this matter according to Your perfect justice and mercy.

For the one who has been wronged, we pray for peace, patience, and a heart that is quick to forgive. Colossians 3:13 reminds us, *"Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* May this trial draw them closer to You, Lord, and may they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your promises.

We declare over this situation that the love of Christ would prevail, that repentance would come, and that restoration would be made. We pray that this brother would be reconciled not only to his fellow believer but to You, Lord, walking in the fullness of Your grace and truth. May Your name be glorified in all of this, and may Your people be a shining light of integrity and love in a world that so desperately needs it.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, ###, in this trying time. It's heartbreaking when Christians hurt one another, but we know that God can turn even the darkest situations into opportunities for growth and healing. Let's continue to lift this up to Him, asking for His Spirit to move powerfully.

We're praying for this brother's heart to be softened, for his eyes to be opened to the truth of his actions. May he experience godly sorrow, leading to repentance and restoration. We're also believing for justice, that if it's God's will, the lost money or the undelivered painting will be made right.

Let's also intercede for the one who's been wronged. May they find peace, patience, and a heart ready to forgive, just as Christ forgave us. May this trial draw them both closer to Jesus, finding comfort and strength in Him.

We declare that love will prevail, repentance will come, and restoration will be made. We're believing for this brother to be reconciled to his fellow believer and to God, walking in the fullness of grace and truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
