We hear your heart and stand with you in seeking God’s perfect will for your plans. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is not a promise that our plans will always unfold as we imagine, but that when we surrender them to the Lord, He directs our steps according to His wisdom and purpose. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*
We must also examine whether our plans align with God’s Word and His design for our lives. Are we seeking His kingdom first, as Matthew 6:33 instructs? Are we walking in obedience to His commands, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9)? If there is any area where our desires conflict with Scripture—whether in relationships, finances, or personal ambitions—we must repent and realign our hearts with His truth.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one’s plans to You, asking that You would order their steps according to Your perfect will. Father, if their desires are not in alignment with Your Word, we ask that You reveal this to them with clarity and conviction. Give them the humility to surrender their plans to You, trusting that Your ways are best.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may be clouding their mind, and we declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Let Your will be done in their life, not their own.
We also pray for wisdom, as James 1:5 promises, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You hold their future.
Lord, if there is any sin or disobedience in their life that is hindering Your blessings, we ask that You bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to right fellowship with You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your plans for this one are good, to give them a future and a hope. In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. God is not distant or indifferent to your desires. He cares deeply about every detail of your life, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Keep seeking Him with all your heart, and He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater decision you can make, for Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
