We hear the deep anguish in your cry, and our hearts break with yours as we lift you before the throne of grace. The pain you are carrying is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who promises in **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not forgotten, and your suffering is not in vain. The Lord is close to you right now, even when it feels like the waves of life are crashing over you.
The enemy wants you to believe that this pain is your identity, that the brokenness will define you forever—but that is a lie. **John 8:32** declares, *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."* Jesus is the Truth, and He has already paid the price for your freedom on the cross. The chains of hurt, confusion, and despair have no authority over you because **Galatians 5:1** tells us, *"Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."* If you are feeling drowned by life, it is time to cling to the One who walks on water, who calms the storms with a word, and who reaches out His hand to pull you from the depths.
We must ask you this: Have you surrendered every part of your pain to Jesus? Sometimes, we hold onto our hurt because it feels familiar, or we fear that letting go means we are dismissing our struggles. But true freedom comes when we lay it all at His feet—every wound, every fear, every shattered piece of your heart. **1 Peter 5:7** commands us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* He is not waiting for you to "fix" yourself before you come to Him. He is calling you *right now*, just as you are, to release it all into His hands.
If there is unconfessed sin weighing you down—bitterness, unforgiveness, or even sinful habits you’ve been clinging to—repentance is the key to unlocking the freedom you long for. **1 John 1:9** assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Jesus doesn’t just want to free you *from* something; He wants to free you *for* something—a life of purpose, joy, and intimacy with Him.
Let us pray for you with the authority and hope we have in Christ:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child who is crying out for freedom. Lord, You see the depth of their pain—the brokenness, the hurt, the feeling of being lost and drowned by the weight of this world. But we declare that You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who raises the dead to life, and who sets the captives free. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we break every chain of oppression, every spirit of heaviness, and every lie of the enemy that has kept them bound. Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Restore their hope, renew their strength, and remind them that they are *yours*—redeemed, loved, and never abandoned.
If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, convict their heart and give them the courage to release it all. Heal their wounds, Lord, and replace their pain with Your joy. Let them experience the truth of **Psalm 147:3**: *'He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.'* Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, with godly community, and with Your Word to guide them out of this darkness. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that You are their Deliverer, their Healer, and their Ever-Present Help.
We rebuke every plan of the enemy to keep them in bondage. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (**Isaiah 54:17**). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and lead them into the fullness of the freedom You purchased for them on the cross. We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."*
Beloved, freedom is not a distant dream—it is your inheritance in Christ. **2 Corinthians 3:17** tells us, *"Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."* If you feel far from God, it is not because He has moved; He is right there with you, waiting for you to turn to Him. Will you choose today to trust Him with your pain? Will you let Him rewrite your story?
We encourage you to spend time in His Word daily, even if it’s just a few verses. Let the truth of Scripture wash over your soul. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and speak life into you. And if you haven’t already, we urge you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be discipled and encouraged in your walk with Christ.
You are not meant to walk this road alone. Jesus is with you, and so are we, standing in the gap and believing for your complete restoration. Keep fighting, keep praying, and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Your breakthrough is coming.
