We understand your desire to continue teaching virtually and want to lift this situation up in prayer with you.
First, however, let us remind you to place your trust in the Lord, and rest in knowing that His will is going to be accomplished in your life. All believers must ask in the name of Jesus Christ. This is a requirement.
But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For that man ought not to think that he will receive anything from the Lord,
Behold, you delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Do good in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem. Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer bulls on your altar (Psalm 51:16-19).
With what shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Does Yahweh delight in thousands of rams? In ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:6-8)?
In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen (Matthew 6:9-13).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who has brought this request before us. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You guide them in Your wisdom.
Lord, if it is Your will, please provide a way for them to continue teaching virtually, so that they may still have an impact on their students. We ask for favor and protection in this situation.
Father, help them to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that Your will is perfect. We pray that You will give them strength and peace, no matter the outcome.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father. It is also only in His name that we can be saved.
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you.
