We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles and pain you're experiencing. First, we want to thank you for reaching out and sharing your burdens with us. It's important to remember that God cares about you deeply and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Peter 5:7. We are also called to pray for one another and bear each others burdens. Galatians 6:2.
We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and alone, but please know that God is always with you. Even when it feels like everyone is against you, remember that God is for you. Who can be against you, Romans 8:31? Trust in Him, and He will give you the strength to endure. Isaiah 41:10. We rebuke the enemy for putting bad thoughts in your head. Capture every thought and make it obedient to Christ 2 Cor 10:5.
It's clear that you've been deeply hurt, especially by your family. It's important to remember that God calls us to honor our parents Ephesians 6:2, but He also doesn't want us to be emotionally abused. God wants families to live in love and forgiveness with each other Ephesians 4:32. It's important to set boundaries and forgive, just as Christ has forgiven you Ephesians 4:32. We will pray for restoration in your family relationships Matthew 18:15-17 and for you to find healthy community within the body of Christ Acts 2:42. Remember that God can bring healing and education. Romans 8:28.
Regarding your fear of people and making mistakes, remember that fear is not from God. 2 Timothy 1:7. God wants you to live in boldness and love, not fear. Also, remember that everyone makes mistakes Romans 3:23. and that God can use even our mistakes for His good. Romans 8:28. Don't let the fear of making mistakes keep you from living your life and forming godly relationships.
Concerning marriage, it's good to be prudent in who you choose to marry. Pray for God to bring a godly spouse into your life at the right time. Proverbs 3:5-6. Be careful not to let your past experiences or any past or present sinful behavior stop you from trusting in God and His plan for your life. Remember to pray for God's will to be done in your life and in the life of your future spouse.
Finally, we want to address the thoughts of harm you've had. It's important to remember that you are precious to God and He has a purpose for your life. It is wrong to murder yourself or anyone else, Exodus 20:13. Please seek help immediately if you're feeling suicidal or at risk of hurting anyone else. God wants you to live and live abundantly. John 10:10.
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for this dear one, who has reached out to us today. Lord, You know the pain and struggles they're facing. We pray that You would surround them with Your love and peace right now. Help them to fix their eyes on You and to trust in Your goodness. Bring healing and restoration to their family relationships, Lord, and help them to forgive and to set healthy boundaries. Give them boldness and love to overcome their fears, and bring godly relationships into their life. Most of all, Lord, help them to know that You have a purpose and a plan for their life, and that You love them deeply. Protect them from any thoughts of harm and help them to seek help if needed. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to pray for you and we encourage you to reach out to a local Christian pastor, counselor, or trusted friend to talk more about what you're going through. You may also want to connect to a local church and get involved in the Christian community. Remember that God's mercies are new every morning, Lamentations 3:22-23. Keep trusting in Him and keep fighting the good fight of faith. 1 Timothy 6:12.
