Please pray that God shows me the truth and what to do with the truth.

We hear your earnest plea for divine clarity and guidance, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom together in Jesus’ name. The cry of your heart echoes the psalmist’s words: *"Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation"* (Psalm 25:4-5 WEB). Truth is not merely a concept to be discovered—it is a Person, Jesus Christ, who declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). Without Him, we stumble in darkness, but in His light, we see light (Psalm 36:9).

First, we must address the foundation of your request. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12), and it is only through repentance and faith in Him that we gain access to the Father and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who guides us into all truth (John 16:13). If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict your heart and draw you to Him. The truth you seek begins with the truth of the Gospel: *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB).

Now, let us pray for the specific desires of your heart:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Lord, You are the God who reveals mysteries (Daniel 2:22) and who desires to lead Your children into all truth. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is seeking Your truth and Your will. Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the truth as You see it, that You would unstop their ears to hear Your voice clearly, and that You would soften their heart to receive and obey what You reveal. Remove any scales of deception, doubt, or fear that may be blinding them, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Lord, we pray that You would grant them wisdom and discernment to know what to do with the truth once it is revealed. Give them the courage to walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult or unpopular. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they be like the Bereans, who received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so (Acts 17:11). Let Your truth set them free (John 8:32) and transform every area of their life—mind, heart, and actions.

Father, if there are areas in their life where they are currently walking in deception or disobedience, we ask that You would bring conviction through Your Holy Spirit. If there is unconfessed sin, pride, or rebellion, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent. If they are entangled in relationships, habits, or beliefs that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You would break those chains and set them on the path of righteousness. Your Word warns us, *"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death"* (Proverbs 14:12 WEB). Protect them from the lies of the enemy and the deception of the world.

Lord, we also pray for divine appointments and godly counsel in their life. Surround them with believers who will speak Your truth in love and hold them accountable. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word so that they are not tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). May they be like trees planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season and prospering in all they do (Psalm 1:3).

Above all, Father, we pray that their pursuit of truth would lead them deeper into intimacy with You. May they not seek truth for truth’s sake alone, but for the sake of knowing You more fully. Let Your truth be the foundation of their life, and may they walk in it with humility, gratitude, and joy. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in God’s Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). The truth you seek is not hidden from you—it is found in the pages of Scripture and revealed by the Holy Spirit. Spend time in prayer, asking God to speak to you, and be still enough to listen. *"Be still, and know that I am God"* (Psalm 46:10 WEB). The truth may not always be what you want to hear, but it will always be what you need to hear.

If you are struggling with a specific area of your life where you suspect deception or disobedience, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are you involved in a relationship that does not honor God, such as cohabitation, fornication, or an unequally yoked partnership? The Bible is clear: *"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If this is the case, we encourage you to repent and seek God’s will for godly relationships that lead to marriage, as He designed.

If you are wrestling with doubts about your faith or the truth of Scripture, we pray that God would strengthen your faith and remove every obstacle. Remember, *"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17 WEB). Surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and study the Word together. The truth of God’s love and salvation is unshakable, and it is our firm foundation.

Lastly, we want to remind you that the truth is not just to be known—it is to be lived. Jesus said, *"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"* (John 8:31-32 WEB). Obedience to God’s truth is the pathway to true freedom. As you seek Him, may you not only discover the truth but also have the grace to walk in it, no matter the cost. You are not alone in this journey—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Guide. Press on, dear one, for the reward of knowing and walking in God’s truth is eternal.
