We hear your heart’s cry for help in pursuing the goals God has placed before you, and we stand with you in seeking His wisdom and strength. The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." When our goals align with God’s will, He delights in guiding and empowering us to fulfill them. However, we must also examine our motives and ensure that our ambitions are not driven by selfishness, pride, or worldly desires, but by a desire to glorify Him and advance His kingdom.
Let us also remember that without Christ, we can do nothing of eternal value (John 15:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to consider the weight of this truth. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to live a life that pleases Him. If you have not confessed your sins and trusted in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we pray that you would do so today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us lift your goals before the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your help in achieving the goals You have placed on their heart. Lord, we ask that You would give them clarity and wisdom as they seek Your will in every step. Help them to delight in You, knowing that as they do, You will give them the desires of their heart (Psalm 37:4). Father, reveal any areas where their goals may not align with Your purposes, and grant them the humility to surrender those things to You.
Lord, we pray for strength and perseverance, for we know that the enemy seeks to discourage and distract us from the work You have called us to. Protect their mind from doubt, fear, and the lies of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When they grow weary, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly mentors, friends, and accountability partners who will speak truth into their life and encourage them in their walk with You. Let them be a light to others as they pursue the goals You have set before them, drawing others to You through their obedience and faithfulness.
Lord, if there are any areas of sin or disobedience in their life—whether in their thoughts, actions, or relationships—we ask that You would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to a right relationship with You. Help them to walk in holiness and purity, for without it, no one will see You (Hebrews 12:14).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May they run this race with endurance, fixing their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6), and we thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in His Word and through prayer, allowing Him to shape and refine your goals according to His perfect will. Remember, "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Stay rooted in Christ, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If your goals involve relationships, career, or other significant life decisions, we urge you to seek godly counsel and ensure that every step you take honors the Lord. May He bless you abundantly as you trust in Him.
