We join together in lifting you up before the Lord, knowing that He has called you to serve in ministry and equips those He calls. The work of ministry is not done in our own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we rejoice that you are seeking God’s help in this sacred calling. The apostle Paul reminds us in **2 Corinthians 3:5-6 (WEB)**, *"Not that we are sufficient by ourselves to claim anything as coming from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who has also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."* Your dependence on God is the foundation of effective ministry, and we praise Him for your heart to serve faithfully.
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. It is only by the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard, for **John 14:13-14 (WEB)** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* Additionally, **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** leaves no doubt: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and surrender your life to Him. Without Christ, all ministry is in vain, but in Him, it bears eternal fruit.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this servant who seeks to honor You through ministry. Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting wisdom, discernment, and boldness to proclaim Your truth. Strengthen them in every good work, for **1 Corinthians 15:58 (WEB)** tells us, *"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."* Remove any obstacles, whether spiritual, emotional, or physical, that may hinder their service. Protect them from burnout, pride, or discouragement, and surround them with godly counsel and support.
Father, if there are areas in their ministry where they have relied on their own strength or wisdom, convict them and lead them back to total dependence on You. May their ministry be marked by humility, love, and a deep commitment to Your Word. Open doors for the Gospel to go forth, and let many come to saving faith through their obedience. We also pray for their personal walk with You—guard their heart, renew their passion for You daily, and let their life reflect **Galatians 2:20 (WEB)**: *"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me."*
Lord, we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. May Your will be done in and through this ministry, for Your glory alone. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continually seek the Lord in prayer and Scripture, ensuring that your ministry remains rooted in His truth. **Colossians 3:17 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."* Stay faithful, and trust that God will complete the work He has begun in you (**Philippians 1:6**). If you ever feel weary, remember **Isaiah 40:31 (WEB)**: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Keep pressing on, and may the Lord richly bless your labor for His kingdom.
