We hear your cry for healing, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Heavenly Father.
First, let us acknowledge that true healing comes from God alone. We pray that you would draw near to Him, seeking His face and His will for your life. In Psalm 103:2-3, we are reminded, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is not only able to heal physically but also spiritually and emotionally.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon our dear brother/sister. Touch every part of their body, mind, and spirit that is in need of restoration. Lord, we know that Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life today.
We also pray for strength and patience as they wait on You. Healing may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but we trust in Your perfect plan. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
If there are areas in your life that may be hindering your healing, we encourage you to examine your heart and seek God’s forgiveness. Confess any sin and turn away from it, for 1 John 1:9 tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God’s desire is for you to walk in wholeness and holiness.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness that may be afflicting our brother/sister. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over their body, mind, and spirit. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
