We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is in need of healing and protection for her mind. First, we must address the importance of approaching God in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you" (John 16:23). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly come before Him in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would heal this precious daughter of Yours. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word declares, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We pray that You would touch her mind, bringing healing and restoration. Lord, we ask that You would guard her thoughts and protect her from the attacks of the enemy. Your Word tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may be afflicting her, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also pray that You would surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she find rest in You, knowing that You are in control and that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her thoughts and giving her wisdom and discernment.
We encourage this sister to draw near to God, and He will draw near to her (James 4:8). May she find comfort in Your Word, meditating on it day and night (Psalm 1:2). We pray that she would cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Remind her, Lord, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
