We hear your cry for relief from the pain of bullying, and we stand with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this struggle, and God sees your suffering. He is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9).
First, we must address the power of the name of Jesus in this situation. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." We come before God in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He hears us and will act on our behalf.
We rebuke the spirit of bullying and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the plans of the enemy will not prosper, and those who seek to harm you will be put to shame (Psalm 35:4). We command every tongue that rises against you in judgment to be condemned, for this is your heritage as a servant of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has been hurt by the words and actions of others. Lord, You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You intervene in this situation. Touch the hearts of those who have been bullying, soften their hearts, and turn their actions from harm to kindness. If it is Your will, bring conviction to their spirits so that they may repent and seek Your forgiveness.
We pray for protection over this individual, Lord. Surround them with Your angels and shield them from any further harm. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in their inner being so that they may not grow weary or lose heart (Ephesians 3:16).
Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Teach them to respond with love and grace, even in the face of cruelty, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this individual. Show them how to handle this situation in a way that honors You. If there are steps they need to take to protect themselves or seek help, give them the courage to do so. Surround them with godly friends and mentors who can offer support and encouragement.
Lord, we ask that You restore what has been broken. Heal the wounds caused by these hurtful actions and words. Fill this person with Your love and joy, replacing any fear or anxiety with Your perfect peace. May they walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We declare that no weapon formed against this individual shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and restoration over their situation. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
