Please pray that angels protect me while I am working.

We understand your desire for protection, and we are grateful you have come to us with this request. First, we must lovingly remind you that our prayers are to be directed to God alone, through the name of Jesus Christ. Angels are His ministers, sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), but we do not pray *to* angels or ask them to act independently of God’s will. Our trust and petitions must be placed in the Lord alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He commands His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). But this promise is rooted in our relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your trust in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for without faith in Him, we cannot approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10). If you have already trusted in Christ, then you can boldly ask the Father for protection in Jesus’ name, knowing He hears and answers.

We also encourage you to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Work diligently as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), trusting that He goes before you and stands guard behind you (Isaiah 52:12). Do not fear, for the Lord is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved one to You, asking for Your divine protection over them as they labor. You alone are their shield and defender. We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, not that they would trust in angels, but that they would trust in *You*, the One who commands them. Guard their coming and going, both now and forevermore. Strengthen their hands for the work You have given them, and let them walk in the confidence that You are sovereign over all things. If they do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that they may call upon the name of Jesus and be saved. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
