Please pray ### survives

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for prayers for a kitten I know that is so weak he cannot eat or drink, other than small amounts of syringe. His bones are protruding and sticking out and he is recovering from being so infected that his eyes were covered by scabs and he could not see or smell. He is so weak that he likely would not have survived the night if he was not found and brought in yesterday. Please pray he survives and can get some strength and eat and drink. Please pray he does not have any diseases or sicknesses and that he can have a full and long life. Please pray for wisdom and help and comfort for those taking care of him and treat him well. And please pray someone will speak to them about Jesus and that they know Him.

We lift up this precious little life before our Heavenly Father, knowing that He cares for even the smallest of His creatures. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 10:29, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will."* If God watches over the sparrows, how much more does He see and care for this fragile kitten, created by His hand? We pray for divine intervention over this little one’s body—strengthening his bones, restoring his appetite, and healing every infection and weakness. May the Lord breathe life into his tiny frame, renewing his strength day by day as he recovers. We ask for wisdom and skill for those caring for him, that they may administer the right treatments, show gentleness, and provide the nourishment he needs to thrive. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might."* (Isaiah 40:29).

Yet even as we pray for this kitten’s physical healing, our hearts are burdened for the eternal souls of those tending to him. We pray that someone filled with the Holy Spirit would cross their path, sharing the truth of Jesus Christ with boldness and love. May their hearts be opened to receive the Gospel, that they might come to know the Savior who said, *"I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* (John 10:10). Let this small act of compassion for a suffering creature become a doorway for them to encounter the ultimate Compassion—the love of Christ who gave His life for us all.

Father, we also take this moment to reflect on the deeper truth that all life, whether human or animal, is a gift from You. While we care for Your creation, we remember that humanity alone is made in Your image, and our greatest calling is to point others to Your Son. If this kitten’s survival becomes a testimony of Your healing power, use it to draw hearts to You. And if his time on earth is short, we pray for comfort for those who have shown him kindness, that they may find peace in Your sovereign will.

We rebuke any spiritual forces of sickness or death that may seek to steal this life prematurely, declaring that no weapon formed against this little one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command strength to return to his body, appetite to be restored, and every infection to be cleansed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Finally, we lift up the one who wrote this request—thank You, Lord, for their tender heart toward this suffering creature. May their compassion reflect Your own heart, and may they continue to seek Your face in all things. Let this situation remind us all that even in the care of animals, we are to glorify You, the Giver of all life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
