We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your situation to Him in prayer. The pain of being deceived and the fear of losing your home is overwhelming, but we know that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand with you, believing that the Lord sees your struggle and will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You move mightily on behalf of this dear one. We pray that the claims filed with the bank will be processed swiftly and justly, and that the funds wrongfully taken will be restored. Lord, You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will bring about righteousness in this situation. "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You soften the hearts of those involved in processing the claim, that they may act with integrity and compassion.
Father, we also lift up the pressing need for shelter. You have promised that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and we trust that You will provide a way before this family faces homelessness. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide a safe and stable place for them to dwell. We declare that this family will not be put to shame, for You are their deliverer (Psalm 34:5).
We rebuke the spirit of deceit and greed that has caused this hardship. We declare that the enemy’s plans will not prosper, and that what was meant for harm will be turned around for good (Genesis 50:20). Lord, we ask that You expose any further deceit and bring the contractor to accountability for their actions.
We also encourage you to lean fully on the Lord during this time. He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Seek His wisdom in every decision, and trust that He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). If there are local churches or Christian organizations in your area, do not hesitate to reach out to them for practical support and prayer. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we believe God will use others to meet your needs.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and He is the one who can bring true peace and restoration to your life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your goodness. We lift up this precious family to You, asking that You would restore what has been stolen and provide for their every need. Lord, we ask that You move in the hearts of those processing the claim, that they would act with justice and speed. Provide shelter for this family, Father, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke the spirit of deceit and declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand. We ask that You expose any further wrongdoing and bring this contractor to accountability. Lord, we trust in Your provision and Your timing. Strengthen this family’s faith, and help them to lean on You completely. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
