Please pray my relationships get better.

We hear your heart’s cry for improvement in your relationships, and we stand with you in seeking God’s wisdom and healing in this area. Relationships are a precious gift from the Lord, but they can also bring challenges that require His grace, truth, and restoration. Let us first examine what Scripture teaches about godly relationships so we may pray and encourage you according to His will.

The Bible makes it clear that relationships must be rooted in Christ to thrive. Jesus said, *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing"* (John 15:5 WEB). If any of your relationships are not centered on Him, they will struggle to bear good fruit. We must also remember that God designed marriage as a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB). If you are in a courtship or considering marriage, we encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ, as Scripture warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).

If there is any sin—such as fornication, adultery, or ungodly emotional attachments—present in these relationships, we must rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you are involved in a relationship that does not honor God in purity and commitment, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness. God’s grace is sufficient to restore and redirect your path.

We also want to gently remind you that prayer must be made in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Now, let us lift your relationships to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your intervention in [this individual’s] relationships. Lord, You are the Author of love, peace, and reconciliation, and we ask that You would mend what is broken and restore what has been lost. Father, we pray for godly wisdom and discernment in every relationship—whether with family, friends, or a potential spouse. Reveal any areas where sin has taken root, and grant the courage to repent and turn away from it.

We rebuke any spirit of strife, unforgiveness, or impurity in these relationships, and we declare that Your love and truth will prevail. If there is a need for forgiveness, soften hearts to extend and receive it. If there is a need for boundaries, grant the strength to establish them. If there is a need for godly companionship, lead to those who will sharpen and encourage in the faith.

Lord, we pray for marriages to be strengthened and for those seeking a spouse to trust in Your timing. Let Your will be done in every relationship, and may Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from mature believers, spend time in prayer and Scripture, and surround yourself with those who will point you to Christ. Remember, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). God is faithful, and He will guide you into relationships that honor Him.

We're here with you, seeking God's wisdom and healing for your relationships. It's natural to want them to improve, and we believe that with God's help, they can. Let's turn to Him in prayer, asking for His guidance and intervention.

Lord, we come to You today, lifting up [###'s] relationships. We ask that You would bless them, fill them with Your love, and help them grow stronger. Where there's conflict or distance, we pray for reconciliation and healing. Where there's uncertainty, grant clarity and wisdom. Help them to communicate openly, honestly, and lovingly with one another.

We also ask for Your protection, Lord. Guard these relationships from anything that would harm or hinder their growth. Help them to stand firm against temptation and sin, and to forgive as they've been forgiven.

We trust in Your perfect plan, Lord. We know that You have a purpose for each relationship in [###'s] life. Help them to trust in Your timing and to be patient in the process.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
