We understand that you're seeking improved relationships with your classmates and a desire to stay connected with them. Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Romans 10:13 WEB, For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
In regards to relationships, we should always strive for them to be positive, encouraging, and godly. As followers of Christ, we are called to love and respect others, even our enemies. Matthew 5:43-48 WEB says:
You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don't even the tax collectors do the same? Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who desires improved relationships with their classmates. We ask that this is not for selfish gain or popularity, but for organizational health and unity in Christ. Father, help them to be a light in their classroom, to foster healthy, encouraging, and godly friendships. Guide them to be a peacemaker, to bless and not curse, to love and not hate. Lord, help them to stay connected with their classmates, being up to date with them but not falling into gossip or ungodly talk, but rather encouraging and building each other up in You. Let this be a testimony of Your love and a way to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek to bless and encourage your classmates, to be a peacemaker, and to shine the light of Christ in your classroom.
