Thank you for bringing your requests before the Lord. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and your family's situation.
Let's first address your marriage. It's beautiful to see your desire to grow closer to Jesus and to each other as a couple. Remember, God is at the center of a strong and thriving marriage. As it's written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble." And in Matthew 19:6, Jesus says, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."
Pray with us:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' mighty name, lifting up this marriage. Lord, draw them closer to you and to each other. Strengthen their bond, and help them to grow together in your teachings. Give them wisdom, patience, and love according to your word in Colossians 3:14, 'Above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection.'"
"Lord, we also bring before you their financial need. You are the God who can make a way out of no way. We know that: 'My God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' Philippians 4:19
"Lord, we ask for your financial blessing and provision. Touch the hearts of the company's officials, and soften their hearts toward this family's plight. Allow them to keep the furniture so their children can have stability and comfort. In Jesus' name, we pray, that they will be able to continue their counseling, praying, and Bible study in a suitable and furnished environment.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-33, '"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'"
Keep holding on to your faith and belief in Jesus. It is only by his name that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
