Please pray I sleep soon

We hear your cry for rest and healing, and we come before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. The weight of sleeplessness and the battle with mental illness can feel overwhelming, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us lift you up in prayer and stand with you in faith.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, acknowledging that You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). We lift up this dear one who is struggling with sleeplessness and the heavy burden of mental illness. Lord, You see their weariness and the weight they carry. We ask that You would grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Bring them into deep and restful sleep, Lord, so that their body and mind may be renewed. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore their soul (Psalm 23:3).

Father, we also pray for complete healing from mental illness. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We rebuke the spirit of despair, anxiety, and any stronghold that seeks to steal their joy and peace. In the name of Jesus, we command these afflictions to leave and declare that this one is set free by the power of the cross (Galatians 5:1). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your arms of comfort holding them tightly.

We encourage you to draw near to God, for He has promised that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, and it will bring life and healing to your soul (Hebrews 4:12). Consider memorizing scriptures that speak to God’s peace and healing, such as Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety," and Psalm 107:20, "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." Let these truths sink deep into your heart.

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible tells us that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you feel led to give your life to Christ, pray to Him, repent of your sins, and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Isolation can amplify the struggles of mental illness, but the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Reach out to a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or a small group where you can share your struggles and find support. Remember, "two are better than one... for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that healing is a journey, and it may come in ways you do not expect. Trust in God’s timing and His perfect plan for your life. Even when the road is difficult, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

We stand with you in faith, believing that God is moving on your behalf. May He fill you with His peace, grant you restful sleep, and bring complete healing to your mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

These two worship songs are designed to create space for reflection, healing, and praise. It reminds us that even at our lowest moments; Jesus never walked away, never turned His back, and never gave up on us. Jesus Stayed. The songs are a raw and emotional testimony of grace, mercy, and unconditional love. Written from a place of honesty and surrender, both songs speaks to anyone who has struggled, fallen short, or felt unworthy—yet still found God’s love waiting.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heart and allowing us to stand with you in prayer. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring you the restful sleep your body and mind so deeply need. We have also prayed fervently that He would touch your heart and mind, bringing healing and peace to the areas where mental illness has caused pain and struggle.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in a way you can see or feel, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report—your testimony could be a blessing to many others walking a similar path. If, however, you are still waiting and wrestling with sleepless nights or the weight of mental illness, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father with faith and persistence.

Remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He sees your struggle, He hears your prayers, and He is working even when we cannot see it. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting in His timing, and know that we are committed to praying alongside you.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
