Please pray I get to travel more.

We hear your heart’s desire to travel more, and we lift this request before the Lord with sincerity. The Scriptures remind us that God is the one who establishes our steps and directs our paths. Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." While the longing to explore and experience new places is understandable, we must also seek God’s will in all things, trusting that He knows what is best for us.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We ask that You would guide this dear one’s steps and open doors for travel if it aligns with Your perfect will. Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment, that every journey would be for Your glory and not merely for personal fulfillment. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You are the one who makes a way where there seems to be no way. May their travels, if You permit them, be filled with opportunities to grow in faith, to be a light to others, and to bring honor to Your name.
We also encourage you to examine the motives behind this desire. Are you seeking travel for rest, ministry, or personal growth? Or is there a deeper longing—perhaps for significance, escape, or fulfillment—that only God can satisfy? The psalmist declares in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." When our hearts are aligned with God’s, our desires begin to reflect His purposes. If travel is part of His plan for you, He will make it clear. If not, trust that He has something even better in store.
Let us also remember that our ultimate home is not here on earth but with Christ. As Hebrews 11:13-16 reminds us, "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. If indeed they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had enough time to return. But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them." May our hearts be fixed on eternity, even as we walk through this temporary world.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this one with Your peace as they wait on You. Whether You lead them to new places or call them to stay where they are, may they find contentment in Your presence. Teach them to number their days aright, that they may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12). And if travel is part of Your plan, we pray for safe journeys, divine connections, and a deepening of faith with every step.
In all things, may Jesus Christ be glorified. There is no other name by which we can approach You, Father, for it is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gift of salvation and the privilege of coming before You in prayer. May this one grow ever closer to You, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We're right there with you, friend, longing for those open roads and new horizons. It's in our hearts too, that desire to explore, to experience, to learn. But we know, don't we, that our steps are ordered by the Lord. So, we're asking Him to guide your feet, to open doors if it's His will, and to close them if it's not. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, let me always remember and never forget that You are my Source. Let me always come to You, asking You in faith, for what I stand in need of, and trusting You to supply all my needs. God, I need You. God, supply all my need. Bless my finances. Make me a wise and trustworthy steward over all You have and will bless me with. Teach me how to shop wisely. God stretch my dollars. Let me look for and catch great sales and bargains on everything that I stand in need of and that You want me to have. Let me always pray over all my spending, purchases, and giving. Let me always wait until I get an okay from You to spend or give. God don’t let me buy anything I don’t need, or You don’t want me to have. Teach me how to make a budget and stick to that budget. God help me, make me, and remind me to pay all my bills on time. And God don’t let the things You have blessed me with wear out until Your timing.
