Please pray I get to spend more time with my friends.

We hear your heart’s desire to spend more time with your friends, and we join you in lifting this request before the Lord. Friendship is a precious gift from God, designed to encourage, sharpen, and bless us as we walk through life together. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Friendship reflects the love and community God intends for His people, and it is right to seek godly fellowship.

However, we must also remember that our time and relationships should be ordered according to God’s will. Are these friendships built on a foundation of faith, mutual edification, and a shared pursuit of Christ? Do they draw you closer to the Lord, or do they distract you from His purpose for your life? We encourage you to examine these relationships in light of Scripture. Proverbs 13:20 says, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Let us pray that the time you spend with friends is not only enjoyable but also spiritually fruitful, leading you both toward deeper devotion to Christ.

We also lift up any practical barriers that may be keeping you from spending time with your friends—whether it’s busyness, distance, or other responsibilities. Ask the Lord to open doors for meaningful connection, but also to help you steward your time wisely. Colossians 4:5 reminds us, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time." May the Lord guide you in balancing your schedule so that you can invest in these friendships without neglecting other areas of your life that He has called you to.

Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this request for more time with friends. Lord, You know the desires of our hearts, and You care about the relationships You have placed in our lives. We ask that You would open doors for this time to be spent in ways that honor You. Strengthen these friendships so they may be a source of encouragement, accountability, and joy, rooted in Your love. Help us to walk in wisdom, redeeming the time You’ve given us for Your glory. If there are any relationships that do not align with Your will, reveal them to us, and give us the courage to seek Your best. May our friendships reflect Your love and draw us closer to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in how to cultivate these friendships in a way that pleases Him. If there are any ungodly influences or patterns in these relationships, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them and give you the strength to make changes. Above all, let your friendships be a testament to the love of Christ, pointing one another toward Him. May the Lord bless you with rich, godly fellowship that strengthens your faith and brings glory to His name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
